What's inside

Everything a habit needs, and nothing it doesn't.

Shared habits

Invite a partner or a friend to any habit. You each check in for yourself, and you both see your records and commitment.

Streaks that mean it

Count days in a row, longest run, and total commitment — for simple yes/no habits or ones with a daily target.

Nudges, not nagging

Set your own alarms, or tap once to remind the person you share with. Not disturbing, only gentle reminders.

Week and month at a glance

Fill in a missed day, look back at any date, and watch the month build up dot by dot.

Private notes

Write what happened on a day. Notes stay yours, nobody in a shared habit can read them.

Offline first

Check in on a plane or in the desert. Everything syncs the moment you're back, on every device.

Better together

One person quits in a week. Two people keep going for a year.

Kawkaba doesn't gamify you into compliance. It just puts someone you care about in the same frame — their streak next to yours, their missed day visible, a reminder for people you care about.

Questions

Everything people ask about habit sharing.

How shared habits work, what stays private, and what it costs.

What is a collaborative habit tracker?

A collaborative habit tracker is a habit app where a habit belongs to a group rather than to one person. Everyone in it works toward the same goal on the same schedule, sees each other's progress, and can remind each other. Kawkaba is built this way from the ground up — a habit with one member is just the smallest case of a shared one.

How do I share a habit with a friend?

Create the habit, open it, go to members, write your friend's user name to add them. Alternatively, you can set your habit to public and get an invite link to send, but everyone who has it will be able to join and see your progress.

Can I track habits with a group, not just one person?

Yes. A habit holds several members, and everyone sees the same week, the same streaks and the same monthly leaderboard.

Can other people read my notes?

No. Your daily progress is shared with the habit, but the notes you attach to a day are private to you and encrypted at rest. Members see that you finished a day, not what you wrote about it.

Does habit sharing work offline?

Yes. Days you log without a connection are saved on the device and synced when you reconnect.

Is Kawkaba free?

Yes. Creating habits, inviting members, reminders, streaks and the leaderboard are all free, and there are no ads. A small set of extras like custom reminder messages, larger habits, per-member reminders, are Premium to support the app.

Which platforms does it run on?

There is an Android app on Google Play, and the web app runs in any modern browser and can be installed to your home screen. The same account and the same habits are on both.

Can I delete my account and everything in it?

Yes, from Settings, at any time, and you can export everything you have recorded first. Deleting removes your profile and the records attached to it; habits you created that other people still use are handed on rather than destroyed.
